We're looking to support the 2026 NORD® Running for Rare® team along the course of the TCS New York City Marathon and we need your help!

Sign up to be a Cheer Squad Captain or Participant!

Requirements of joining the Cheer Squad:

-Willing to join or lead the cheer squad of your choice
-Bring enthusiasm that day to cheer on NORD Running for Rare
-Stay at your location of choice until all NORD Running for Rare runners pass you
- Fundraise a minimum of $25 and receive a shirt to wear that day- a fundraising link will be provided.

Bring some noise makers, pom-poms- and your biggest cheers!
Dress for the weather- bring snacks and beverages, a camp chair.
We've got signs you can help design!

Runner arrival will depend on the pace of each runner.
Bring snacks, water, etc.

The NYRR has shared the following information:
Spectator guidelines:
DO bring:
Noisemakers
Handheld signs (We will have some dry erase signs to update for each runner, as well)
Pompoms
Enthusiasm!
Do NOT bring:
Tent or furniture
Signs or banners to hang on race barricades, trees or city property
Balloons
Food or drink to hand to runners (this means setting up a table- if you have something for an individual runner that you know- this is ok)
Confetti
You are responsible for picking up and disposing of any items that you bring on your own.
