1. GCSA CharterLeader Boot Camp Application- 2016 Cohort

Thank you for your interest in the CharterLeader 2016 Boot Camp.

The program listed below is facilitated by GCSA staff, as well as external expert presenters.

The "boot camp" will run from Monday, June 13, 2016 - Thursday, June 16, 2016. There will also be two follow-up  group meetings during the 2016-2017 school year to discuss how you've implemented the training content.  Those dates will be determined during the "boot camp." Candidates are expected to attend and participate in all cohort meetings and trainings in order to earn three Professional Learning Units (PLUs). Experienced charter school leaders will also serve as mentors to the participants. Topics to be covered include:

* Teacher Retention and Induction
* QBE and FTE
* PSC Requirements
* Hiring and Scheduling
* TKES and LKES
* Code of Ethics
* CCRPI
* School Improvement
* Professional Development Planning
* Governance, Risk Management, and Strategic Planning
* Waivers
* Legislative Update
* SPED and RTI
*Culturally Responsive Pedagogy
* Title Programs

Further, candidates are expected to work collaboratively with their mentors to build capacity in leadership and
decision-making.

This application is due NO LATER than Friday, May 13, 2016. Final decisions will be made on or before Friday, May 20, 2016. 

Pricing is as follows:
Bootcamp for 1 leader- $1,000
Bootcamp for 2-3 leaders- $750 per person
Bootcamp for 4 or more leaders- $500 per person

1) A resume/CV which includes full education and work history
2) At least 3 professional references with contact information
3) A letter from your immediate supervisor that includes acknowledgment and approval of your participation in the program, approval for release time for all trainings in the program, and support with providing leadership activities (if not currently in a full-time leadership role).
