Greetings,

The purpose of our project is to assess areas of interest of research within the transplant community. By participating in the survey process, this implies your consent to participate in the project. You can withdraw your participation at any time. Please answer all questions. The survey is anonymous. This survey should take approximately 10 minutes. If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Dr. Jeff Fair at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston at 409-772-2405 or jhfair@utmb.edu.

The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) committee that reviews research on human subjects, the Institutional Review Board (IRB) will answer any questions about your rights as a research subject, and take any comments or complaints you may wish to offer. You can contact the UTMB IRB by calling 409-266-9400 or the University of Minnesota IRB, Andrew Allen, alle0302@umn.edu, (612) 626-2890.

The goal of ASTS Cellular Transplantation Committee is to advance the knowledge and promote clinical and research work in the field of cellular transplantation. Generation of cellular products with functionality and behavior that simulate in vivo environment carries a significant impact on the field of regenerative medicine, disease modeling and pharmaceutical research.  One of this year’s initiatives that was set forward by ASTS Cellular Transplantation Committee is to conduct the survey of ongoing research and clinical work in the areas of cellular products and therapies. The goal of the survey is to summarize the current research and clinical work within our society as well as to reach outside of our organization to the broader research and clinical community.  We believe that results of the survey will provide a broad perspective of the current field, the future directions, and give an opportunity to the members of our society to develop new ideas and collaborations within ASTS community as well as with the outside investigators.
