Award of distinction - An individual or family, current or past (owner, manager, employee), of a Canadian winery who has demonstrated outstanding and longstanding leadership, tenure in the industry, commitment and passion for the advancement of the Canadian wine industry.

Wine Industry Champion Award - An individual who does not work at a winery and has significantly contributed to the strength and viability of the industry through policy, advocacy, education or media.

Karl Kaiser Canadian Winemaker Award - An individual who has exemplified longstanding leadership in winemaking, has exhibited mentorship with fellow winemakers and others in the industry, has been pioneering in the pursuit of new and innovative winemaking techniques/ practices, and has invested both time and energy towards winemaking excellence.
