Opt-out of Catapult's Fall 2023

To increase student success, economic mobility, and upward mobility for residents of Los Angeles County, the Presidents/CEOs of nine (9) Los Angeles community colleges have opted in to provide every single employee access to this hybrid professional development program called “Catapulting Career Readiness for Los Angeles’ Community Colleges.” To cultivate a stronger culture that is intentional about our student’s success after graduation, everyone at your institution has voluntary access to this masterclass regardless of classification or job title (including faculty, classified professionals, support staff, administrators, etc.).

Funded by The ECMC Foundation in partnership with ACTE, the Los Angeles Regional Consortium, and Catapult, this regional professional development focuses on "Work Based Learning" (fall) and "Career Readiness" (spring). Both masterclasses are completely optional, voluntary, and may count toward faculty Flex credit - per your institution's guidelines.

The fall masterclass consists of seven (7) virtual keynotes from subject matter experts and educational thought leaders, seven (7) interactive Playbooks corresponding to each speaker, and a virtual community of educators. You may participate in one, some, or all of the sessions, live or asynchronously as your schedule allows. There are no assignments due nor obligations to participate; it is designed exclusively for your learning and growth. You have access to this free, dynamic masterclass until January 15th. The outcomes of this masterclass are being assessed by a third-party, external evaluator (called Education Northwest). Participants will receive emails throughout the term from Catapult, their technology partner vFairs, and Education Northwest. Adhering to strict data privacy guidelines, your email shall not be shared nor solicited and is only used for this inspiring, voluntary professional development program.
