Lanark Community Development Trust is a local charity working to develop projects in the area which make our community a better place to live, work in or visit. One of our projects is to develop Castlebank Park into a better community space and provide facilities for environmental volunteering and training to the broader community. So far, we have established a therapeutic garden and partly renovated the derelict sawmill buildings. Please visit http://www.lanarktrust.co.uk/category/projects/castlebank-park/ for more information.

There has been high demand for the project and we are now keen to extend this through converting the remainder of the sawmill buildings as a community space for a range of activities including training and volunteering for the local community.

We need your views on what the needs are locally and how you would ideally like to see the space used. We have commissioned Community Enterprise to help us develop a plan for the next phase of this project and would be grateful if you would take a few minutes to complete this survey. Paper copies of the survey can be returned to the Library before Friday 2nd October.

If you need any help completing the survey or would like to discuss it further please contact Sarah at Community Enterprise on 01506 862 227 or at sarah@communityenterprise.co.uk

Thank you for your time
