The City of Carpinteria wants to hear what you think is important for the future of our city. Carpinteria is updating our General Plan, our blueprint for Carpinteria for the next 20 years. We are updating issues already in the plan such as Land Use, Design, Open Space, Recreation, Conservation, Circulation, Noise, Safety, and Public Services. And we are adding a new Healthy Community Element. The City will use your input to develop goals and policies that impact our future.
Please take the survey only once.
The survey will close on May 31, 2018.
This survey will take about 10-15 minutes depending on your reading speed and familiarity with surveys. It has 17 questions.
All answers are confidential. We are not asking for any personal information such as your name, email, address or phone number, and we cannot tie answers to a specific person. However, IP addresses will be recorded to ensure quality control of survey responses.
You do not need to be a Carpinteria resident to take the survey. We’d like to hear from people who live, work, attend school, and visit. We’d like to know what brings you to Carpinteria; that’s Question 1.
How else can I participate? This survey is just one step. We’re holding public meetings and providing work drafts that you can comment on. Visit the Carpinteria General Plan/LCP website for more information http://www.carpinteria.ca.us/communitydev/GeneralPlanUpdate.shtml
