Caregiver Task Force: Caregiver Testimony Listening Sessions

Thank you for your interest in the Caregiver Task Force Caregiver Listening Sessions. All sessions are full for speakers. 

In December 2018, P.L. 2018, Chapter 166 formed the NJ Caregiver Task Force. The purpose of the Task Force is to determine the availability of caregiver support services in the State, and provide recommendations for the improvement and expansion of such services. 

Caregivers play a vital role in the lives of many New Jerseyans including older adults and individuals with disabilities, chronic health conditions and cognitive or behavioral health challenges. The New Jersey Caregiver Task Force created by the Murphy Administration and the Legislature is holding three virtual listening sessions to hear from residents on needed improvements for caregiver support services. The testimony will help shape a report on recommendations to enhance and expand such services.

All slots for spoken testimony are full at this time. You are welcome to watch the sessions via this link and provide written testimony by e-mailing doas.caregivertaskforce@dhs.nj.gov or via physical mail, fax or submitted in the text box below. 
 
Session #1 
Saturday, March 6th, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

Session #2 
Wednesday, March 10th, 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Session #3
Thursday, March 18th, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Sign language interpreters and real-time captioning will be provided for these listening sessions.

The sessions will be livestreamed to Youtube and recorded for task force use.
