Student Expectations Agreement
You are commended in investing time in your formation through Career ConneXions job shadows and/or internships. Important learning can occur outside of the traditional classroom setting, and you are embarking on a valuable component of your overall education.

Question Title

* To ensure that the program is a positive experience for all parties, we expect you to do the following:
  • Communicate timely and professionally, arriving promptly at the times set forth by your host employer.
  • Follow all rules, guidelines, and expectations provided to you, acting professionally always.
  • Do not cancel or fail to show up. If you are sick or you have an emergency, you commit to inform your host employer immediately.
  • Dress appropriately for the environment you are in; follow the guidelines set by the host employer.
  • Inform St. Xavier High School immediately of any concerns related to your physical and/or emotional safety.
  • Accept responsibilities only if you feel comfortable and trained.
  • Thank your host employer(s) verbally at the end of each day/session.
  • Send a written thank you note at the end of the workshop, career exploration meeting, job shadow and/or internship experience.
  • Complete the Career ConneXions Evaluation form provided by St. Xavier High School.
