Overview

Dear Prospective Presenter,

SciMathMN and Ignite Afterschool’s conference November 29 - 30, 2017, will offer breakout sessions and workshops featuring the following themes as seen on the Eventbrite Conference page. Breakout Sessions will be around 1 hour and Workshops could range from 90 minutes to 3 hours, depending on your proposal. Each session/presentation should allow at minimum 5-10 minutes for Q&A. There will be additional spark-it sessions: "Spark it in 15: Youth Activities" & "Spark it in 15: Icebreakers"

Proposals will be evaluated based on innovation, collaboration, impact, and engagement. A proposal should address one of the three tracks of the Conference, and how it aligns with the Network(s) missions.

The audience for this conference includes, but is not limited to, youth workers and professionals from the following sectors: schools, communities, non-profits, businesses, museums, and universities.

Projectors, extension cords and screens will be provided in all session rooms, but presenters must bring their own computer or tablet (with adapter cable, as needed).

Please be prepared to share your presentation with us when finished. For paper handouts, it is recommended that you plan on 35 - 50 attendees per session/workshop.
