Canyon Bridges Replacement Design Option Review

Bridge Replacement: Silverado Canyon Road at Ladd Canyon Road

 Existing Ladd Canyon Road Bridge

Thank you for participating in the Canyon Bridges Replacement Project Survey. Your feedback is valuable and helps to shape the final aesthetic design element for the new Ladd Canyon Road Bridge.

Why: OC Public Works will remove and replace four bridges, with three located in Silverado Canyon and one in Modjeska Canyon. The bridges planned for replacement are 2-lane steel bridges built in the 1930s and 1940s. The new bridges are designed to enhance safety and access for residents and area motorists by bringing the structures up to current design standards.

What: We are seeking input from Silverado Canyon residents on the “look” of the replacement bridge located on Silverado Canyon Road, at Ladd Canyon Road. OC Public Works is asking you to review the bridge railing design options below and select ONE option that you like best. There are three different options for your consideration. Once the survey is closed, we will take the community's input into consideration as we work toward the final design.

When: Please respond by Friday, November 15 by 5 pm.

This survey is intended to identify preference and does not represent an official vote.
