Be a part of the LARGEST Canada Day celebration in Western Canada!

Canada Place is looking for volunteers for the Canada Day at Canada Place taking place Sunday, July 1, 2018

Every year, more than 250 volunteers help welcome over 250,000 guests who take part in the free event festivities organized at Canada Place and on Vancouver's Waterfront. Volunteering is a great way to build experience, get involved in your community, meet new people and show your Canadian pride.

Saturday, July 1
Canada Day at Canada Place starts at 11am at Canada Place and surrounding streets followed by the Fireworks Show in Coal Harbour at 10:30pm.


CANADA DAY VOLUNTEER REWARDS:

-Official Canada Day at Canada Place Volunteer t-shirt
-Lunch, snacks and beverages will be provided

-Opportunity to meet new friends

CANADA DAY VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS:

-Commit to a minimum of 8 hours
-Enjoy working with the public
-Be at least 16 years of age
-Be able to attend the Volunteer Orientation session on Thursday, June 28 from 6-7:30pm at Port of Vancouver Discovery Centre (North End Point)
-Be punctual, reliable and responsible
