Cancer Programs Education Committees: Call for Topics for the 2022 ACS Clinical Congress |
The Cancer Programs are currently developing educational topics to submit for inclusion in the 2022 American College of Surgeons (ACS) Clinical Congress program. We invite you to submit a topic and either volunteer to be a moderator (or nominate a moderator). Please provide a working title, program description, and at least one objective for the topic along with the moderator name and contact information in the spaces provided below.
Keep in mind that the primary audience for Clinical Congress are American College of Surgeons Fellows, surgeons and physicians who hold credentials from other professional organizations, fellows, residents, and medical students so the Program Committee is interested in selecting topics that focus on surgical and other clinical issues as well as emerging issues.
The key clinical topics for Congress 2022 are:
Breast cancer and benign disease
Lung cancer
Esophageal cancer
Mediastinal and chest wall tumors
Adrenal cancer and tumors
Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia
GI cancer – stomach, spleen, small bowel, colon, rectum, anus
Liver cancer, liver tumor
Pancreatic cancer, pancreatic tumors, benign
Genitourinary cancer
Gynecologic cancer
Head and neck cancer
Soft tissue sarcoma
Melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer
Cancer Genetics
The key clinical topics for Congress 2022 are:

- Moderators must be a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons
- Each topic must be submitted individually
Please provide the following in the fields below:
- The group sponsor (ACS CRP, AJCC, CoC, CSSP, NAPBC, NAPRC, or NCDB)
- Course Type (didactic, panel session, surgical skills course, etc)
- Moderator name, credentials, and contact information
- Topic/title of your submission
- Program description up to 125 words
- Preferred primary track for your submission
Deadline extended through 4 pm central Monday, March 15, 2021.
