2021 Utah Safety Conference & Expo Call For Presenters

The Utah Safety Council will host the 2021 Utah Safety Conference and Expo in an all virtual format on March 2-3, 2021.
 
We are requesting presenters for this 2-day conference. There are fewer breakout sessions available this year to allow us to focus on delivering quality information in a virtual format.  

Presenter Criteria: 
  • Unique in its delivery, hands-on and interactive.  Be creative!
  • Chosen presenters will be required to sign a contract outlining the date and time of the presentation; the agreement terms; the deadlines for session descriptions, audiovisual requirements and presentation material submission.
Chosen presenters agree to use the conference branded PowerPoint template (if using PowerPoint). Although you may include your logo, your presentation must not contain sales pitches or sales-oriented material.

Chosen presenters are required to meet minimum IT requirements including:
  •  Provide a unique virtual conference area free from distractions, excessive noise and cluttered or controversial background images.  
  • A high speed internet connection.
  • Presenters must ensure high quality video and sound capabilities.  Please be aware that the video and microphone quality from a laptop may not be sufficient. 
  • Speakers and microphone that allows for all participants to hear you clearly.
  • All presenters must commit to testing their equipment and presentation space at least one week prior to the conference.  
 
Deadline: All interested parties must complete this request by  October 12, 2020 and all presenters will be confirmed and notified by October 23, 2020.

If chosen to present, finals bios and session descriptions must be submitted no later than November 13, 2020.  
 
Presenter information will be included in the conference mobile app and on the Utah Safety Council website.

The compensation for presenting at this event is a complimentary pass to attend the entire conference.
