Dear 10YFP STP network member,

The Coordination Desk of 10YFP STP is committed to bring added value to its network members.

With a view to maximizing the contribution of the 10YFP STP to the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development 2017, we are currently developing the Calendar of Events of 10YFP STP for 2017. The 10YFP STP is directly linked to the pillar of the International Year focusing on “Resource efficiency, environmental protection and climate change”.

The 10YFP STP Calendar of Events will allow all network members to share information on events with potential to create synergies and opportunities for collaboration across the network.

Please fill in the following questionnaire describing a selection of events directly related to sustainable consumption and production (SCP) in the tourism sector which you will be organizing in 2017.

By participating in the Calendar, the events on SCP in tourism will be automatically included in the official website of the International Year as well as promoted via the 10YFP STP social media, resulting in better visibility and outreach. The Coordination Desk will send you the logo of the 10YFP STP and IY2017 to identify the event as "an initiative contributing to 10YFP STP and IY2017".

The deadline for completing this survey is 7 April 2017. A follow-up of this survey will be circulated in the future to provide you an opportunity to submit any additional events.

After the event you would kindly be requested to submit a summary of the results explaining how the event supported the 10YFP STP and a photo of the event, as part of the next Portfolio exercise 2017.

Thank you very much for your kind cooperation.

The programme focuses on four areas of work addressing the integration of SCP into policy; collaboration among stakeholders; the application of guidelines, tools and technical solutions; and investment and financing.

* 1. Kindly proceed to the survey by committing to use the logos of 10YFP STP and IY2017 and to submit a summary and a photograph of the event you will be submitting.
