2026 California ACEP Chapter Awards Nomination Form

Preference is given to nominees who are members of the Chapter and not currently serving on the Board of Directors. The Awards Committee may choose to award a non-member or Board Member at their discretion.

Advocacy Award
This award is given to a member or elected official who has made a lasting and indelible contribution to emergency medicine through significant legislative or political advocacy.

CalEMRA Rising Star Award
This award is given to a member who is an outstanding medical student or emergency medicine resident in California.

This award is given to a member or to an emergency medicine department that has advanced DEI initiatives in the emergency medicine community.

This award is given to a member who has made an outstanding contribution to education within the specialty of emergency medicine.

This award is given to a member who has made a significant contribution to emergency medicine through service, whether it be service to the Chapter, the specialty, the House of Medicine, the community, or humanitarian efforts.

The Chapter’s highest honor, this award is given to a member who has distinguished themselves among their peers in the Chapter by embodying the mission of the Chapter – to support emergency physicians in providing the highest quality of care to all patients and their communities.
