About the Course
This course is structured around the project cycle and covers skills required to design, implement, and monitor cash and voucher assistance (CVA). The course is focused on a technical/programmatic perspective, and it incorporates examples and case studies from multiple sectors.

Course Aim
To support participants to be able integrate CVA into the design, implementation, and monitoring of humanitarian programming.

Objectives:
--Understand how CVA is guided by key policies, standards, and guidelines
--Describe how CVA needs to be integrated into role of different teams throughout the project cycle
--Explain what assessment information is needed to inform response analysis
--Use market information to inform modality choice
--Understand how CVA can contribute to response objectives
--Identify the information needed for monitoring and evaluation of CVA
--Identify how collaboration and coordination support quality CVA

Who is this course for?
This course is for program staff responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring cash and voucher assistance. This group might include program managers, program officers, technical specialists from any sector (e.g.food security, livelihoods, WASH, health, shelter, protection, etc.), and MEAL specialists.

We are running the course in Washington, DC, U.S.A. from March 25-29, 2019. It is a face-to-face, classroom-based training, and it will not be possible to
participate remotely.

Note: While there are no fees for the course, participants are responsible for any travel or associated costs.
