This is the onboarding survey; basic information is collected about you to enroll you in the Long Term Security Attitudes and Practices Study. 

Privacy and Related Statements
  1. We will never share your email address or any other personal information with anyone else.
  2. Upon request we will delete your identifying information from the study but retain the anonymized data set. We do this to maintain longitudinal integrity of the study; that means we do not want the underlying data set to change over time.
  3. We will release the anonymized raw data set periodically, but at least once a year, under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International license that prevents commercial use of the information collected and requires anyone making use of the data in their own studies to share their data in the same way. Summary analysis will be release under an appropriate Creative Commons License. Code used to generate the study analysis will be released under an appropriate open source license.
  4. The data is collected under the privacy laws of Canada which is recognized as adequate with the European Union (per https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/law-topic/data-protection/data-transfers-outside-eu/adequacy-protection-personal-data-non-eu-countries_en).
  5. Data will be encrypted at rested and transmitted over encrypted channels.
  6. The data owner and custodian is Ben Sapiro and reachable at ben _at_ liquidmatrix.org.
  7. Updates to this statement will made directly here and enrolled recipients will be notified by email of such changes. If participants do not agree to the changes they may request that there data be anonymized as described above.
