Thank you to everyone who participated in the City’s 2025 outreach efforts for the Affordable Housing & Sustainable Communities (AHSC) Round 9 funding application for Sunset Heights in Eureka. Your input helped secure over $8 million for transit, pedestrian, bicycle, and safety improvements primarily along the West Harris and Henderson Street corridors. These improvements will be constructed in conjunction with Sunset Heights, an 88-unit affordable housing development proposed by Rural Communities Housing Development Corporation (RCHDC) on City property at 1200 West Harris Street.
