We invite you to commemorate Yom HaShoah / Holocaust Remembrance Day by joining with our sister city of Haifa for a special ceremony on Sunday, April 19 from 11am – 12pm EST via Zoom teleconference.
Zikaron BaSalon (Hebrew for “remembrance in the living room”) is an annual event in Israel that offers a meaningful way to commemorate Yom HaShoah by hosting a Holocaust survivor to share his or her testimonial. As the number of living Holocaust survivors dwindles, these opportunities to preserve their memories and stories are more important than ever.
