Graduate Student Workers (GSWs) are united in our fight for a stronger USC. A stronger USC means a living wage, real recourse for GSWs who face workplace discrimination and harassment, childcare funding for GSWs who are parents, and a strong union shop.
USC administration has engaged in unlawful bargaining behavior that is impacting the bargaining process, and their bargaining positions are not tenable. In response to these actions, Graduate Student Workers are escalating our campaign, with an informational “Last Chance Picket” set for November 9th, to build toward a potential strike.
The Bargaining Team has voted unanimously to hold a Strike Authorization Vote and strongly encourages you to vote “Yes.” Voting "Yes" means giving your Bargaining Team the authority to call a strike if circumstances justify. You can read more about the Strike Authorization Vote
