Defining Circle Dinners

Many years ago, interested church members and their families would gather monthly for up to 6 months in small groups of 6 to 10 people and have a monthly meal.  Each month one or more of the members of these small groups would host the meal in their home (or elsewhere if unable to in their own homes) providing the basics:  main dish, nonalcoholic beverages, and accouterments.  Other members of the small group would provide side dishes and adult beverages.  Hosting the dinner was on a rotating basis.

The mission of this social ministry was to get to know others in a more intentional and intimate way.  Learning about others and finding common ground and being in community together.

The administrators of the old new idea want feedback on whether the UUCC congregation would like to bring this back as a way of connecting new and old members and friends.  Please click on the url provided and let us know if you are interested.  Or you may call or email Luanne Gearhart if you have questions or to express your interest in joining this fun-filled conversation, good food, and community.  More information will be headed your way soon.  Contact Luanne Gearhart at or call 307- 630- 3763.
