Legal Representation: Receive case referrals within specific practice areas that you designate.

Legal Advice by Phone: Advise clients on housing, consumer, family, or public benefits law.

Tax Clinic: Consultation to help clients prevent tax levies/liens, minimize tax liabilities, and educate clients about their federal and state tax rights and responsibilities.

Guardianship Clinic: Consultation with clients who are seeking uncontested guardianships for adults to explain what guardianship entails and the filing process.

Divorce Clinic: Two-hour clinics to educate domestic violence victims about how to seek a divorce and assist them to fill out paperwork.

Custody Clinic: Two-hour clinics to educate victims of abuse (domestic violence or child abuse) about how to seek child custody.

Expunction Clinic: Advise very low-income clients about criminal records and fill out expunction paperwork if they are eligible.

Client Intake Interviews: In-depth interviews with clients.

Training/Mentoring & Leadership: Train/mentor newer attorneys; help with volunteer recruitment; be a MAVL team leader
