Information Required & Program Eligibility

Please ensure you have the below information ready before going any further:  

1. A list of up to 5 local high schools you could be picked up at (the more high schools you list, the better your chances are of being assigned to a volunteer crew).

2. The weeks of summer that you are available (the more weeks you are available, the better your chances are of being assigned to a crew). This program runs July and August, and participants attend for one week only. 

3. Emergency Contact Name, Phone Number, and Email (e.g. your parents/guardians).

4. Your name, postal code, phone number, and email address.
In order to be eligible to participate in the Conservation Youth Corps program, registrants must be at least 14 years of age, completed one year of high school at the end of June, and planning to return to high school in the fall. 

Applications are not deemed complete until the Informed Consent, Medical, Photographic Release & General Permission form is submitted to CVC. At the end of this application you will be prompted to print this form, which must be signed by parent/guardians and sent to CVC.

Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) respects the rights of individuals to the privacy of their personal information and is subject to the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA). The information collected herein will not be made externally available for commercial purposes of any kind. Personal information will be used for internal administrative purposes, in the event of emergency, to contact participants as part of a post-program evaluation and/or may also be used to inform participants as to the availability of new programs or events. All information is kept confidential and will only be used or disclosed in accordance with MFIPPA rules and regulations.
