"Let's Get Real About PrEP" Client Survey |
Introduction
The following survey is conducted by HealthHIV, with Einstein Montefiore Center for Continuing Medical Education and NovaMed Education, for a program called "Let's Get Real About PrEP."
PrEP, which is short for pre-exposure prophylaxis, is a pill taken once a day that has been approved by the FDA for 5 years to prevent people from becoming infected with HIV. When taken daily, PrEP is well over 90% effective in preventing HIV.
With this program, we are trying to find out what prevents the optimal use of PrEP as part of a comprehensive HIV prevention strategy, and also identify best practices in using PrEP. All individual responses will be kept confidential as all data is reported in aggregate form. Your privacy is important to us.
