Your Toronto Zoo is a not-for-profit organization and has supported various fundraising events through its donation program. Kindly follow the guidelines to determine your eligibility before submitting a donation request. Requests for donation must be received at least 8 weeks prior to the scheduled date of the fundraising event. Requests must be in writing on the requesting organization’s letterhead, and must include the date of the event, purpose for fundraising as well as an applicant contact name, phone number, email address and a return mailing address.
 
Only those who submit eligible requests will be considered; all required details must be included. Due to a high volume of requests received daily, ineligible requests may not receive a response. Please do not mail your request.

*Occasionally, donations may be offered to organizations raising funds on behalf of or to benefit registered charities at the sole discretion of the Toronto Zoo. These requests will be handled with a case-by-case review process. In order to expedite the review process, please enclose a letter of endorsement from the charity you have partnered with. This endorsement should be on the charity's official letterhead and include a contact name and should confirm that the donation requester is authorized to be fundraising on behalf of the charity.

Your Toronto Zoo does not provide donations for:
  • Functions requesting loot bag gifts, door prizes or personal prizing
  • Monetary requests for cash, personal requests such as weddings, stag and does or similar private events
  • Sporting teams or sporting events
  • Political, fraternal or social organizations
