APPLICATION

Thank you for your interest in the SA Ag Careers Hub. The SA Ag Careers Hub aims to provide students with a clear vision and pathway towards exciting careers and opportunities in South Australia’s agriculture industry.

The hub’s focus is on developing school industry partnerships showcasing real-world career opportunities to secondary school students and teachers. It will focus on promoting the state’s agricultural sector across all commodities – grains, livestock, horticulture, viticulture, forestry, aquaculture and dairy.
The Hub HQ will be based at Urrbrae Agricultural High School and will be managed by the hub working committee.

The SA Ag Careers Hub is seeking applications from industry leaders to become ambassadors. We are creating a team who will present in schools and promote their career pathways, share information on graduate programs and opportunities within their business and raise awareness of the diversity of opportunities in agriculture. As one of 30 industry ambassadors, your involvement will include the opportunity to:
• Deliver in-school agriculture (ag) career showcase sessions to Year 7 to 11 students at Urrbrae.
• Join the hub team in visiting regional schools and deliver in-school or virtual ag careers showcase sessions.
• Host student site visits to showcase your sector of the industry in action.
• Deliver career opportunity and pathway sessions to teachers and career advisers as part of a series of professional development events.
