RSVP for the Welcome Blanket event at Olympia City Hall, Room 207 on Dec. 17
The Dec. 17 Welcome Blanket event at Olympia City Hall, Room 207 is a free public event, and includes the following registration options for attendees:
3PM Knit-in: Knitters and crocheters are invited to bring their hooks and needles and collaborate on creating a new Welcome Blanket for the project. Yarn will be provided, and light instruction will be available for anyone who could use a refresher. For consistency and color palette, attendees are asked to use the yarn supplied at the event. If the option to bring personal yarn becomes available, those interested may request to be notified.
4-5:30PM Roundtable Discussion: Lead by local immigration advocates from AGUA (Accompaniment Group for Unity and Action), LISO (Legal Immigration Services of Olympia), and the Thurston Rapid Response Network.
