Untitling: Identity & Transition Survey

We all carry labels that help describe who we are—our profession, title, relationships, family roles, nationality, community, achievements and more.
This anonymous survey explores what happens to our sense of identity when those labels change, disappear, or no longer fit.
The survey is part of my research for Untitling, a forthcoming book exploring identity, transition and identity resilience. Responses may be analyzed and reported in aggregate, and anonymous written responses may be quoted in the research and resulting publications.

There are no right or wrong answers. Please answer based on your own experience.

The survey should take approximately 5–7 minutes.

Thank you for contributing to the Untitling research.
We spend much of our lives collecting labels that tell the world something about who we are. This research is exploring what remains—and what becomes possible—when those labels change.

Your anonymous perspective will help me better understand how people navigate identity transitions and what may help us build more resilient identities.

Thank you for being part of the research.
