* 5. Cost of Training

Cost for the 6-day CWL intensive is:
$1950: Earth Matters - Ben Lomond, California

This fee includes tuition and materials, comfortable lodging, healthy organic meals, and the support of three facilitators.

Are you able to pay the full cost of tuition on your own?

* 6. If not, might you receive funding from your employer or institution to attend this CWL workshop as professional development?

* 7. If not, might you be able to raise the balance, either online through a crowdfunding campaign or from circles (either professional and/or personal) you know?

* 8. Do you need financial aid from CWL to attend?

* 9. Financial Aid

Because we aim to gather a diverse circle of women, we hope to remove obstacles for women who are in need of financial assistance in order to attend.

CWL offers a limited number of scholarships, prioritized for lower income women of the region where the retreat is held. In order to apply for a scholarship, please indicate the amount that you can pay toward the total costs, and the scholarship amount needed. Please understand that, since many women request support, full scholarships are rarely possible (please note: all participants are required to pay a minimum investment of $250 toward their tuition). Scholarships will be awarded 4 to 6 weeks prior to the training start date.

What level of financial aid are you applying for? Please choose only one option from below or explain further in "Other."

* 10. Please describe your financial need in applying for a scholarship to attend CWL. This may include employment, housing, schooling, familial or other factors that directly affect your finances.

* 11. International Applicants:

CWL does not currently have the administrative support necessary to navigate obtaining visas, nor do we have travel funding available for international applicants.

Do you have access to travel funding and/or administrative support available to assist with any necessary paperwork, should you be accepted into the CWL cohort?

* 12. Personal Information

CWL is interested in overcoming the barriers that divide women. We gather a group of 18 to 24 women that is diverse in terms of race, class, age, sexual orientation, personal and professional backgrounds and issue focus.

The selection process is designed to optimize diversity in all ways within the group, and to prioritize access for women of the region in which the training is offered.

Because we want to gather a diverse group, it is helpful for us to know something about your background, social identities, professional and issue interests. Please briefly describe yourself in relation to these areas and the elements of diversity described above.

* 13. In what ways have you practiced leadership? Where do you imagine your leadership taking you in the next one to two years?

* 14. How do you imagine that the CWL training may benefit you and the community or communities that you serve?

* 15. What do you think you might uniquely bring to a wide-ranging group of women?

* 16. Please tell us about any experience that you have had participating in racially diverse groups and/or engaging with the issues and expressions of racial justice, white privilege, or overcoming oppression.

* 17. Special Needs

Are there any special considerations we should know about regarding your lodging, dietary, physical, or facilities needs?

* 18. Donate to the CWL Scholarship Fund

Part of CWL's magic and uniqueness is directly related to the diversity in each cohort, which is only possible through scholarship support. Please indicate below if, in addition to your own costs, you are able to donate to our scholarship fund. Your donation is tax-deductible.
