Community halls are places of important social connection. They provide opportunities for locals to interact with each other, participate in activities and come together in times of need.
Many halls have also played an important role in the community's recovery from natural disasters. This role of community halls has also been strengthened in recent years, with investment in facilities and on-site equipment.
The Clarence Valley Community Halls Strategy is an important document for Council. It provides an opportunity to co-ordinate Council’s efforts to work with the community to strengthen these important assets. The Strategy will seek to put actions in place to increase the importance and relevance of halls to the community over the next ten years.
We invite you to share your thoughts about out community halls in this online survey. This includes sharing information about the current situation regarding the community hall that is of most interest to you, as well as the opportunities that can increase the use of halls over the next 10 years.
