To support the next generation of bioethicists, the Cross-Institutional Undergraduate Sponsorship Program (CUSP) in Bioethics will financially support a limited number of undergraduate students to attend in this year's American Society for Bioethics & Humanities conference in Portland, Oregon from October 22-25. CUSP will provide (i) conference registration at the student rate, (ii) up to $500 in travel costs to Portland, (iii) accommodation in Portland and (iv) some meals. In addition, selected students will be given opportunities for cross-institutional faculty mentorship and a pre-conference workshop designed to help undergraduate students get the most out of the conference. If you are selected for this sponsorship, we will help you contact a faculty member at your university to seek additional support for conference attendance, but our financial support is not contingent on whether or not your university is able to provide you any support.
More information about the ASBH Conference is available here: https://asbh.org/annual-meeting/bioethics-humanities-meeting

As this application form has multiple questions, we recommend completing your answers in a separate word-processing application (e.g. Word) that you can save and then copying your answers into this form.
As this application is used to assess your personal ability to academically and professionally benefit from cross-institutional mentorship and attending the ASBH conference in-person, AI is not suitable for this application. Do not use AI to generate or modify any material for this application.
