Facilitator Expression of Interest

The City of Rockingham is seeking expressions of interest from experienced art-based facilitators for our 2027 Art 4 Kids after school art classes at the Rockingham Arts Centre.

Expressions of interest are sought from facilitators who have experience working with children to create and deliver a dynamic and fun series of art projects designed to build confidence and skills for our young creatives aged seven to 11 years.

Art 4 Kids is conducted every Wednesday afternoon from 4pm-5pm throughout the 2027 school terms. The program of classes allows for a minimum of 10 participants and a maximum of 12 participants, with an option to add additional classes if there is demand.

4.National Police Clearance
A valid National Police Clearance (NPC) of not more than three months prior to classes commencing on 3 February 2027 is required to facilitate Art 4 Kids.

11.Materials

A materials budget of $500 is available for each term. Facilitators will be required to supply a list of materials to the Rockingham Arts Centre Officer who will order and purchase materials for the classes.

Rockingham Arts Centre has a whiteboard, tables, chairs, easels, projector and storage available for the classes.

12.Quote for Services
The City of Rockingham is prepared to pay the Art 4 Kids facilitator based on the NAVA schedule of fees for a small organisation equalling $123.36 per hour.

Calculate your quote based on a one hour contact/teaching time and the time you require for preparation, clean up, planning, and travel. Please indicate if travel is quoted at a flat rate, or per kilometre (see NAVA schedule of fees for recommended rates).

An agreement will be forwarded to the successful applicant outlining facilitator and City responsibilities and payment scheduling.
