Registering to be an Observer

Thank you for your interest in the work of the Citizens' Jury on Compulsory Third Party Insurance.

The Jury is meeting on the following dates;

Part 1

Saturday, Oct. 14 and Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017
Saturday, Oct. 28 and Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017

Part 2 – Saturday, Mar. 24 and Sunday, Mar. 25, 2018

The Jury will meet from 9:00am to 4:30pm at the CIT, Reid, 37 Constitution Avenue, Canberra.

There will be opportunities to observe the work of the Jury. This will involve;
- watching and listening to the expert witnesses providing information to the Jury,
- watching how the jury works,
- learning about citizens's jury processes and in particular the strategy underpinning this Jury.

There will only be a small number of places at each event, due to the constraints of the rooms that the Jury will be working in - so if there is more interest than places a random selection process will be undertaken to select observers.

All observer sessions will be run by democracyCo.
