Consider Becoming a CTGBC Board Member !

CTGBC is seeking candidates for the 2016 Board of Directors election. The term of office for a Director is three years. If you have an interest in serving on the board please complete the following survey and submit to the Nominating Committee by Friday, September 9, 2016 at 5:00pm.

The CTGBC Board meets on the first Monday of each month from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at various business locations. A call in option is typically available.

Board Member responsibilities include the following::

Is a CTGBC member in good standing with dues current
Establish a strategic direction for the chapter
Support the chapter's mission and purpose
Ensure necessary financial resources and provide financial oversight
 *In order to comply with USGBC Chapter Minimum Performance Standards the Chapter Board must secure 100% Annual Board Giving.  There is no set amount, but donations are at the level deemed appropriate by each Board Member.
Enhance the public standing of CTGBC
Monitor programs and services
Ensure legal and ethical integrity
Provide guidance and support to the executive director
