Award Descriptions

Thank you for helping to recognize the outstanding Indiana ProStart Instructors.

New ProStart Teacher of the Year- This award recognizes an Indiana ProStart teacher with less than five years of experience. The teacher should demonstrate a passion for Hospitality and initiative to make things happen.

Educator of Excellence (Teacher of the Year)- The Educator of Excellence Award recognizes a ProStart teacher who is working hard to help students explore hospitality careers and provide multiple opportunities for learning and growth for students. Educators should be teaching in a school with a ProStart program in good standing. and have teams actively participating in the ProStart Invitational.
