SURVEY TO UNDERSTAND THE CONCERNS & SUGGESTIONS OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONTRACTORS FOR BIDDING UNDER THE WORLD BANK ASSISTED PROJECTS IN INDIA
World Bank is providing financing to the tune of about US$ 20 Billion to sectors like Hydro Power, Transport, Urban infrastructure & Water & Sanitation in India. The World Bank has initiated a study to assess the issues and concerns of the Construction companies /contractors on the bidding process for the World Bank assisted projects in India. The purpose of this study is to address the issues and concerns of the contractors so as to facilitate participation of more bidders in tendering process.

Please note that these contracts are issued by Governments/Public Sectors in India and the role of the World Bank is to provide financing and supervise the bidding process.
