Overview and Contact Information

Welcome to the online application for the Kristi House C-START Center Community Based Learning Collaborative (CBLC).

The Kristi House C-START Community Based Learning Collaborative (CBLC) initiative is designed to build the capacity of the participating multidisciplinary professionals to provide effective, evidence supported treatment to abused children and youth and their families.

Participating child abuse professionals will work together to learn and implement TF-CBT in their communities so that it is available to every sexually abused and traumatized child who needs it. Mental health professionals will learn to do TF-CBT with a high degree of skill and fidelity to the treatment model. Nonclinical “broker” professionals will learn about TFCBT and learn and implement Evidence-Based Treatment Planning and Case Management for Treatment Success skills. Together, Clinicians and Brokers from participating communities will work as Community Change Teams to identify and overcome barriers to the implementation and sustained use of TF-CBT in their communities.

BENEFITS:  Participants who complete all the CBLC learning activities will receive a Certificate of Completion and will be listed in the Kristi House C-START roster of trained professionals. This training will count toward required continuing education hours for CPS caseworkers, CASAs, victim advocates, mental health professionals, and others. Participants will receive continuing education credit.
