Conference Proposal Information

Thank you for your interest in presenting at the 2019 CSPA-NY Annual Conference! There are many opportunities to present at the conference, whether it be presenting a breakout session, intimately engaging at a pre-conference offering, or a 20(slide)x20(seconds each) PechaKucha. Please consider submitting multiple proposals for review.

Pre-conference options will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2019 and include a Student Pre-Conference for undergraduate and graduate students and a Mid-Level Pre-Conference.  The Annual Conference will be held Sunday, October 20 - Tuesday, October 22, 2019.  The deadline to submit a program proposal is July 29, 2019 at 11:59 PM.

This program proposal form will prompt you to include:
  • Contact information and a brief bio for presenters;
  • Time frame desired;
  • Intended audience;
  • Title, abstract, and objectives/learning outcomes;
Presenters should also include what attendees can expect during the session (interactive activities, round table discussions, case studies, etc.) and which ACPA and NASPA Professional Competency Area(s) will be addressed.

Presenters must have received the necessary approvals from their institution's Institutional Review Board (IRB) for presentations related to ongoing or past human subjects research. Presenters must also register for the conference in order to present.

CSPA-NYS will notify the coordinating presenters regarding the status of all program proposals in early August. If you have any questions about this proposal form or the program proposal process, please contact the 2019 CSPA-NYS Annual Conference Programming Committee by email at conferenceprogramming@cspanys.org.
