Objectives:
· Consider emerging evidence that ASA can supplant DOACs as primary prevention after THR/TKR
· Discuss the need for DVT prophylaxis beyond the in-hospital period
· Extrapolate the results of EPCAT-1/2 as applied to other at-risk medical or surgical patients
