The Pledge

Collectively, individual action can make a big difference. Join us in taking the "Plastic Pledge" to reduce plastic waste. You decide your level of commitment. Together, our efforts will speak volumes to solve the plastic problem.

* 1. Whereas the equivalent of one billion elephants worth of plastic has been created since 1950 with most of it ending up in a landfill or the ocean, I PLEDGE TO:

Avoid single use plastic (bags, bottles, straws, utensils, containers, cups & lids, plastic wrap and packaging)

Whenever possible, reuse or recycle any plastic I do use

Go completely plastic-free of single-use plastic items every Friday, and

Reduce my use of plastic by 50% in 2020 by Nov. 2nd (this time next year).
