Instructions

  • Only abstracts sent through this SurveyMonkey portal will be considered for Collins Surgical Day presentations. This is applicable to both abstracts undergoing peer-review and those selected as top abstracts by their divisions.
  • New: Only one abstract may be submitted per person. 
  • Please ensure that the presenter is available all day Friday, May 15, 2020 for Collins Day. Note that substitute presenters (and their abstracts) will not be eligible for awards.
  • A conflict of interest (COI) declaration must be uploaded with your abstract submission, if you have any COIs.
  • Title: The abstract title should be in sentence case.
  • Authors: Do not include any degrees, titles, or institutional appointments for any of the authors.
  • Main text: There is a 2200 character limit including spaces (which is approximately 300 words) and includes headings but not the title or author list.
    • Should be single paragraph.
    • Should include headings (e.g., introduction, methods, results, conclusions).
