MCQRT List Serve

One of the challenges often faced by Oregon Food Bank-Southeast Oregon Services in bringing Fresh, Healthy foods into our system, is getting surplus product from local producers (who have limited time, staff, & infrastructure) to either the warehouse or a Partner Agency (SOS only has a small team of 4 people and the official Gleaners organization disbanded earlier in 2016).

That said, we are now recruiting volunteers to act as a"Quick Response Unit"-meaning that they would be the folks we'd contact when we run into situations that could use a group of dedicated people willing to go to a field or orchard site and do some harvesting on behalf of our local Hunger Relief Network of Emergency and Supplemental Food Programs.  If you have a love of agriculture, a heart for service, and want to be a part of helping hungry families in our area, please take the time to complete this survey...
