TRUCK DRIVER/WAREHOUSE PERSONNEL This role requires the selected candidate to perform an array of functions that include pulling, packing, prepping, and restocking event and rental orders, shipping and receiving rental pickups, organizing and maintaining inventory. Working alongside the Inventory Specialist, this position is responsible for keeping details up to date in the inventory software system.This role also involves transportation of event decor, props, and furniture to and from venues in Vancouver, Whistler, and around the province.
RATE OF PAY: $30 - $35 per hour
Permanent, full-time position eligible for extended benefits after a probationary period
Hours of work are Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Shifts will vary, including evenings and weekends
No contractors - Delivery Truck Drivers are hired as hourly employees

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Order Management
-Check for any damages and make note of missing product upon rental return
-Unload and load trucks of boxes, bins, objects, and furniture
-Use moving equipment (rolling boards, pallet jacks, etc.)
-Maintains the general order of the warehouse
-Ensures stock location accuracy and efficient storage of inventory
-Drive both 3-ton and 5-ton trucks in Vancouver, Whistler, and around the Province
-Conduct pre-trip inspections, noting any problems or damages to the truck
-Coordinate load-ins and load-outs at venues in a safe and efficient manner

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
-Must be 25 years of age or older, as required by company insurance
-Possess a clean, valid “Class 5” BC Driver’s License
-Lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
-Ability to manage weight distribution and effective tie-strap usage
-Experience driving 3 and 5-ton trucks through the Lower Mainland
-Travel up and down stairs unassisted, sometimes carrying objects
-Push, pull, and otherwise move large, heavy items with the use of moving equipment
-Stand for long periods
-Move-in awkward, small, or restricted spaces
-Become proficient in SPECTRA’s inventory database
