Thank you for your interest in the CS2AI People Patching Program (P3). The goal of this program is to help members connect and share knowledge to help each other advance in our careers, overcome technical challenges, and get opinions on different approaches to solve challenging problems.
What is “People Patching”?
We selected the word “Patching” because it has multiple great meanings. We patch broken things, in communications we “patch people in” so they can exchange information, and we correct or update software with a patch. As human beings there are times, we all need those same things. We benefit from advice, guidance, ideas, mentorship, sounding boards, qualified experience shares, and sometimes just the exchange of information between two peers. As professionals in the control system cyber security industry, all of us from time to time would like to talk with a specific person about something. Further, sometimes we need that to be confidential or at least not with our colleagues. Yes, a person may like to seek a mentor in the form of senior experienced member of our community but equally an industry leader might just want to ask another industry leader about the realities of a specific product implementation.
To best match those who can “patch” and who want to “be patched,” we need some input from you about your skills and interests. The following questions should take less than 5 minutes to complete.
