CRIG Seminar 20-22 October 2026
Call for Expressions of Interest (EOIs)

Value/Values

Over two days online and one day in person, the CRIG Seminar will explore how libraries create impact, foster belonging, support learning, and strengthen communities in a rapidly changing landscape. While libraries remain trusted, human-centred spaces, much of their value and influence often goes unseen.

We invite EOIs for lightning talks, workshops, presentations, panels, and creative formats that examine how libraries demonstrate value, advocate for their future, and make a difference.

We are especially interested in sessions that explore:
- Demonstrating and measuring library impact
- Advocacy, storytelling, and communicating value
- Libraries as places of belonging, wellbeing, and connection
- Information literacy through a values lens
- Sustaining services through change and uncertainty
- Partnerships that extend library influence and reach
- Research, case studies, and reflections on library impact
- Future challenges and opportunities for libraries

Submissions are welcome from staff at all career stages and roles. We value diverse perspectives, lived experiences, and ideas that challenge, inspire, and strengthen our understanding of why libraries matter.
