Cohort Application Overview:

Thank you for your interest in applying to participate in Credential Attainment Cohort.  All States and territories may apply. Interested States must complete each section of this application in order to receive consideration by the review committee.
  • Cohort Team applications will be accepted until Thursday, September 10, 2019.
  • Selected State Teams will be notified by late September 2019.

A cohort is an interactive technical assistance forum where cross-agency participants representing a combination of States and/or regions participate in the development of solutions to a specific challenge. Throughout the Credential Attainment Cohort, State teams will explore different methods for determining which degrees, certificates, certifications, and licenses qualify as credentials (according to the definition outlined within federal guidance), address common and state-specific challenges related to the indicator and develop a system-wide resource to assist states in similar efforts.  The State Cohort will meet every two to four weeks (eight times virtually and once in-person) between October 2019 and May 2020, with the first virtual session taking place the week of October 7th.
