Who Is Eligible?
Current Associate Members of CAEM are eligible for this award. Retired is defined as no longer active in the exposition industry. Awards may be made posthumously. Members of the CAEM Nominating Committee are not eligible to win this award.
What are the Requirements for Consideration?
To be considered for this honour, candidates must meet a minimum of four (4) of the following seven (7) requirements, with the membership requirement being mandatory:
- Held membership within CAEM, in the expo or associate category, for at least 10 years.
- Participated as a Director or Officer of CAEM for a minimum of two years.
- Actively participated on at least two CAEM Committees other than the Board for at least 2 years.
- Participated as a speaker/presenter at seminars or conferences or published articles on the exposition industry, participated in webinars, podcasts, etc.
- Is a champion in the industry and actively works to promote and better the profession.
- Possess a related industry designation.
- Has worked in the industry for at least 15 years.
How is a Submission Made?
Accompanying the above requirements must be a written description of a minimum of 100 words, outlining why the nominee should be inducted into CAEM’s Hall of Fame. The submission should clearly describe the candidate’s accomplishments over the course of their career, as well as the honour they bring to the exposition industry. The candidate should be profiled as a mentor who shares their wisdom and industry knowledge generously and freely with other CAEM members.
Who Should Endorse this Nomination?
Nominations are to be submitted on the attached form and endorsed by three CAEM members from three different companies. Members of the CAEM Nominating Committee cannot endorse nominations.
How is the Nomination Evaluated?
The CAEM Nominating Committee is responsible for reviewing and determining whether or not the nomination meets the criteria set out in the Nomination Information. All nominations will be held in the strictest of confidence.
Submissions not meeting all requirements will not be considered.
When is the Award Presented?
The award winners will be honoured at this year’s Annual Conference in Fredericton, NB.
What is the Deadline for Submission?
The fully completed nomination form and written description must be received at the CAEM office by Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025.
