Over the past several months, the Trump Administration has threatened to target nonprofits that oppose its priorities or ideology, or whose mission the administration disfavors. Targeting nonprofits because of their missions is unlawful and sets a dangerous precedent that could significantly harm the nonprofit sector and its ability to work freely, regardless of who is in power.
