Jemez Mountain Re-entry Survey (Gallina Campus)

The Jemez Mountain School District is conducting this survey as we plan for the opening of school in the Fall 2020. We will be abiding by all CDC, Health Department, Public Education Department and Governor’s Office guidelines related to the COVID-19 to ensure that students, staff, and visitors are all safe while obtaining a high quality education. Please complete the following survey as it will help our district plan for re-entry in the fall. All responses will remain confidential.

According to the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) Reentry guidelines, “To begin, all districts and schools across the state will be able to operate strictly according to hybrid guidelines. The Department of Health and Medical Advisory Team will regularly assess rates of the spread of COVID-19. Districts and schools will then follow the appropriate guidelines based on the designated safe reentry category.”

At this time, which school re-entry scenario would make you feel comfortable?

SAFER AT SCHOOL/HOME: Students attend THREE days with one day of remote learning. On remote days, buildings will be rigorously sanitized. Students will be engaged in learning four days a week.

BLENDED LEARNING: Students will attend school at least TWO days a week with the TWO days of remote learning. Class size will be limited and buildings will be rigorously sanitized. All students will be engaged in learning four days a week.

SAFER AT HOME: I am not comfortable sending my child(ren) to school. It is my hope that my child(ren) can participate in remote learning during the pandemic.
